Psychiatry

The Department of Psychiatry at Inha University Hospital is committed to diagnosing, treating, researching, and providing education for various mental disorders that arise from psychological, social, and neurobiological causes. We have five specialized clinics to offer specific and focused treatments, along with three specialized examination and treatment centers (Academic Abilities Center, Clinical Psychology Center, and Computerized Neuropsychological Assessment Center and Neuropsychological Rehabilitation Center) that work in conjunction with these clinics.

Inpatient care is delivered in 27 protected wards and open wards, where a team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, attending physicians, residents, trainees, specialized nurses, clinical psychologists, social workers, special education experts, and occupational therapists collaborate. They administer a range of treatments, such as medication therapy, individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, electroconvulsive therapy, various rehabilitation therapies, and more. Through regular discussions and mutual complementation among different treatment experts, we aim to establish a patient-centered multidimensional collaborative treatment system within the wards, creating a therapeutic environment for our patients.
