Clinical Pathology

Clinical Pathology conducts appropriate tests on various samples commissioned by each clinical department to help determine treatment method through early diagnosis of patients' diseases and treatment and follow-up observation. The purpose is to detect and prevent diseases through medical checkups or screening tests, Recently, various genetic tests are conducted to provide the latest genetic information related to diseases so that high-quality patient care services can be provided.
 
Clinical Pathology consists of diagnostic blood, clinical chemistry, specialty chemistry, clinical microbiology, diagnostic immunity, transfusion medicine, and diagnostic genetics laboratories, and provides various test results accurately and quickly with advanced testing systems and latest testing equipment.
 
The blood bank is in charge of supplying blood to wherever blood transfusion is needed in the hospital, and various tests, blood donation, component donation, plasma exchange, and terythrocytapheresis are also performed.
 
It participates in the external quality management project of the Korean Association of External Quality Assessment Service and the Korean Institute of  Genetic Testing Evaluation to improve the quality of tests. It is an excellent laboratory that obtains superb laboratory certificates every on-site review.
