Regional Emergency Medical Center is designated on November, 2016 by Korean Government and stays dedicated Emergency Medical Specialist to deal with severe emergency medical situation for 24 hours. In order to categorize with patients with severe urgency who need prompt treatment of who need to be isolated, the Center operates saparate enterance and circulation line for mild, serious and suspected infectious diseases. Also trying to prevent infection in the Emergency Room. The Center equipped with the newest medical equipments to follow developing medical technology and operates Radiology Room only for emergency patients and Emergency ICU(Intensive Care Unit) in order to prompt medical diagnosis and hospitalization. The Center is Regional Emergency Medical Center of Incheo region, so it operates disaster response team to deal with disasters in an appropriate manner, also establishes an organic cooperation system with mobile emergency medical centers and related organizations so that conducst disaster response activities in Incheon.
