Center Introduction

The government of Korea designates and operates medical institutions with advanced capacity as Regional Cardio-Cerebrovascular Disease Centers by dividing the country into 11 regions, in order to increase the survival rate of emergency cardio-cerebrovascular disease patients such as stroke and myocardial infarction patients. Among them is the Incheon Regional Cardio-Cerebrovascular Disease Center operated by Inha University Hospital, providing the best medical service through a multidisciplinary care system with the Department of Cardiology and Department of Thoracic & Cardiovascular Surgery, Department of Neurology, Department of Neurosurgery, Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, and Department of Preventive Management.
