The College of Medicine, Inha University has been already 20 years since the college was established with the mission to educate highly-qualified medical professionals that can both lead the advancement of medicine and serve the medical needs of the community and the nation.
We have been growing into a nationally-recognized medical school by the joint efforts from faculty members with world-class research and clinical experience, most competitive students in the nation, devoted staffs and the alumni members. Yet, we are not satisfied with our previous and current success.

Department of Medicine
1. The Purpose of Education
The Medical Department offers preparatory courses based on the "Training of Character", the "Pursuit of Truth", and "Public Service". We attempt to mold students into great doctors, so students are taught cultural subjects and the fundamental knowledge of Natural Science so that they can become great doctors who can serve the community.
2. The Aim of Education
Establishment of a Moral Sense through Humanist Education
The College intends to establish within students a high moral standard through a humanist education and takes into account the dignity of human beings.
Cultivation of Knowledge for Regular Medical Education. Students of the College learn elements of Social Science, Human Studies, and the fundamental knowledge of Natural Science so that true medical practitioners can be cultivated.
We train true medical practitioners who can solve problems and possess a fine character, and it is such people who are necessary for society.
Department of Nursing
1. Purpose of Education
To cultivate nurses who possess scientific knowledge, as well as knowledge of the medical art, and who can take care of people with humanity. Our ultimate objectives follow.
2. The Aim of Education
To cultivate nurses who understand human beings, the field of health, the environment, and the practice of nursing in general.
To cultivate nurses who can maintain people's health, and assist others in taking care of diseases based on the 'Nursing Process'.
To cultivate nurses who are courteous to all people, and help others by practicing good conduct and possessing a sound mind.
To cultivate nurses who understand others, and cooperate with them, while engaged in the work of medical institutions.
To cultivate nurses who can develop new theories and apply these to their work, and who can contribute to the field of nursing science.
To cultivate nurses who are able to deal with the needs of society, and offer leadership.
