September 1st, 2008, Diabetes Endocrinology & Obesity Center is newly opened. The center is divided Diabetes Endocrinology center and Obesity center and we provide One-stop service system in center. Also we are equipped with high quality modern conveniences and medical instrument for patients’ convenience.
The 7-8% of Koreans has suffered from diabetes and they spend medical charge for diabetes treatments about 4 trillion won every year. The half of this medical charge is taken for treatments charge of complications. In that respect early diagnosis of diabetes and prevention of complications are important medical treatments to diabetes. Because of neglect blood-sugar control, the patients develop complications. After development of complications, the diabetes patients can get another disease except for diabetes.
The diabetes endocrinology & obesity center provides blood-sugar test and simple complication test on visit of the day and the patients can see the result on the same day. And through custom course to each patient, we help and support the patients can cultivate self blood-sugar control.
